Settimio Benedusi was born in Imperia in 1962, a professional photographer with a studio in Milan since 1990. She pioneered open access science applied to pandemic preparedness, designing and laying the foundations for the development of a platform for sharing virus genetic data to accelerate and optimise the response to pandemic emergencies. Vittoria Zanetti is co-founder and executive director of Poke House. She was born in Desenzano del Garda in 1991, of parents who both worked in the food sector in the production of dairy products. She spent most of her childhood trying to understand her identity – being of Chinese descent, raised in Italy and receiving an international education. When she was a child, she considered her diversity a weakness. She already spoke four languages, but she didn't feel she belonged to any of them. She has lived in Italy, New York, London and Shanghai and today she is the CEO of Mulan Group, a leading company in the Asian food sector in Italy. She has been described by Corriere della Sera, Il Sole24 ore and Fortune as one of the youngest and most influential entrepreneurs in Italy; in 2020, she was recognised by Forbes 30 Under 30 as one of the most influential talents in the Food & Drink industry.
